Horrible Histories asks you to take a trip back to the mid 1800's and inherit the thrown as Queen Victoria.
From the Horrible Histories costume collection, this is a great dress up idea for any historical re-enactment of the Victorian period. 
It'll also be the outfit that attempts to dispel the myth that she actually ever said the famous words 'We are not amused".  
The costume comprises of a long sleeved black dress which features a high rounded neckline with a decorative white lace collar.  
The dress has a billowing skirt completed with ruffled front and scalloped hemline.  
Across the shoulder there is a wide attached deep purple sash which is complete with a gold seal of state. 
Our mournful Queen Victoria costume for girls is completed with a flowing white headpiece which is finished with a soft golden crown.
